Wedding Crashers weekend

On Saturday, I was hanging out with my friend from the Darkside, Roland. We ended up watching Wedding Crashers. Funny movie. On Sunday, I did it! I crashed a wedding. Well, not necessarily....it just sounded nice to say since it was the theme of my weekend. BUT technically, I did since I wasn't exactly invited to the wedding. My girlfriend, Ginger's fiance had to work so I was her last minute back up date. I love and hate weddings: I love seeing people in love and so into each other (minus the PDA - their wedding of course, is an exception). I love hearing the short story version of their love life. I love that feeling of anticipation - maybe one day, I'll get to experience this special day when two become one with others that are close to me. I love to imagine and dream how my wedding would be like. I hate being the one to be called out to the dance floor for the the bouquet toss. I hate how I can't be on point and experience that feeling of being on Cloud 9. I hate having the feelings of jealousy and envy seeing the bride & groom so happy. I hate being the bridesmaid and never the bride. If you don't know me by now, I'm a constant dreamer... I dream that one day I get to experience love at first sight like Owen Wilson's character. BUT if dude up in the clouds says that's not meant for me then....in that case - I dream that one day I get to experience true love by accident like Vince Vaughn's character. Either one, I'll be happy with. If I ever get lucky - I dream for my hubby to sing Adam Sandler's song, Grow Old With You from the Wedding Singer soundtrack. That's all I want in this world - love full of simplicity.
